The easiest way is to use a reliable plugin. We will be using a plugin called Custom Facebook Feed. This is a highly popular plugin with more than 200,000 downloads and wonderful review from its users. In order to install the plugin, first you have to login to your admin dashboard and then navigate to Plugins > Add new. Search for keyword Custom Facebook feed. Install the Custom Facebook feed plugin by Smash Balloon. You can also download the plugin from this link and upload the downloaded plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ of your WordPress file structure.
Once installed go to Plugins > Installed plugins and activate the plugin. After activation, you can configure the plugin by going to Facebook feed >Settings.
Enter details like your Facebook page id. ID can be found from the URL of the page. If your URL is like https://www.facebook.com/your_page_name, then your_page_name is the ID. You can also find your page ID from Find My Facebook ID. After configuring all the details save the setting page.
Now you have to visit the Facebook Developers page. If you have never visited Facebook for developer page before, then first you will need to register yourself as Facebook Developer by clicking the register now button.
Next thing you are asked is to create the new app ID. You will get a pop up box where you will need to accept the Facebook policies and then enter app display name, your email address and select a category.
Once you have successfully created the new app you will be directed to the app dashboard. Next you will need to test the app by generating the access tokens for app. Click the tools and support link at the top menu. Then select access token tool.
