To add reCAPTCHA to you website/blog, you will need to generate reCAPTCHA API keys for your website/blog. You can get your reCAPTCHA key from here. You need to sign in to your google account and generate the API keys for your website. Once you generate your key, specific to your domain. You will get two keys – site key and secret key. Copy the site key to reCAPTCHA public key and secret key to reCAPTCHA private key. Once done, click Save Settings to save your form.
Step 3. Adding Contact Buddy Form
Now, we wil be adding Contact Buddy form to a new page. So we Goto Dashboard > Pages > Add New. You will get an editor, give the title to the page as Contact Us or any other suitable title. Now, click on @ sign next to Add Media as shown in the screenshot above marked by 1. What it will do is, it will insert a shortcode to the editor as [contactbuddy]. Then save your page by clicking on Publish/Update button. Your contact page will be saved. Click on the Permalink (see 3 in screenshot above) below the title of the page to see our newly created contact page.
A new tab will open on your browser and your contact form will look similar to screenshot above, which will also have the google reCAPTCHA . If google reCAPTCHA does not show up then, you might have configured reCAPTCHA incorrectly.
This is one of the very simplistic contact form and good for beginners. If you want a contact form, which is minimalist and can be configured with few clicks then ContactBuddy will be a best option. It just provides the basic options for a contact form and nothing more and nothing less. If you are looking for multiple contact form in you website/blog with different field set, then this plugin is not what you are looking for. If you want more flexibility and more option you should check out other forms like Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms or Fast Secure Contact Form. In this way, you can create Contact Page with ContactBuddy Plugin in WordPress.
